The Challenge
Before partnering exclusively with WorkStream, the State of Indiana struggled to find and retain quality PeopleSoft talent in the Indianapolis market, and had worked with several competitive consulting firms whose results fell short. The state needed a single, dependable partner combining technical depth across PeopleSoft HCM and Finance with transparent pricing and a genuine, long-term relationship.
The Solution
In 2021, the State of Indiana entered into the Statewide PeopleSoft Managed Services Agreement with WorkStream, administered through the Indiana Office of Technology (IOT) and supporting every state department on the platform. WorkStream became the state’s exclusive PeopleSoft partner, providing a comprehensive, roughly ten-person remote team of functional leads, technical developers, HCM and Financials specialists, PeopleSoft administrators, and security specialists. The team covers PeopleTools and PUM updates, tax updates, security patching, break/fix support, custom code maintenance, and integrations, alongside ongoing projects and initiatives for the state.
