The Challenge
Carewise Health, through a variety of private equity divestitures and M&A activity, was left with little to no application or IT support for its ERP systems. A heavy user of PeopleSoft HCM and finance, Carewise was looking for a vendor that could assume strategic leadership and direction of its ERP applications. It also needed a vendor that could provide on-site support as well as increased capacity as cyclical demands dictated.
The Solution
Carewise Health hired WorkStream to guide and direct its ERP operations, starting first from a strategic perspective and then from a more operational perspective. The first strategic priority was to complete upgrades of the PeopleSoft HCM and finance application to get it back on a supported release, then build a support team structure that fit within Carewise’s operational budget. After the upgrades were complete and the internal team structure had been built, the next step was to ensure the internal team had all the required knowledge transfer to support the application long term. WorkStream trained and conducted formalized knowledge transfer sessions with the Carewise Health internal team.
