The Challenge
Louisville Metro Government was working on a large-scale PeopleSoft to Workday deployment for an HCM and Finance replacement. Given the size and scale of the project, the internal team was extraordinarily busy, tasked with multiple complicated workstreams in order to support the deployment process. Due to a limited budget and tight staffing, Louisville Metro was struggling to keep pace with the project and ensure deadlines were met.
The Solution
As WorkStream is Louisville Metro’s long-time ERP partner, WorkStream has exceptional depth of understanding of the city’s existing people systems and processes. WorkStream worked collaboratively with the primary implementer, Collaborative Solutions, supporting a variety of workstreams. WorkStream continued to support, maintain, and upgrade the PeopleSoft environment throughout the course of the deployment, and also provided technical and implementation experience across several Workday deployment workstreams. This included the development of hundreds of integrations between Workday and third-party applications, as well as complicated Workday reports. WorkStream was also responsible for the bulk of the historical data conversion from PeopleSoft to Workday, all while still maintaining a mission-critical PeopleSoft HCM application.
