April 12, 2022PeopleSoft has released some very exciting details about the upcoming fluid-enablement of the Job Data component. As we all know, the Job Data component is the main workhorse behind PeopleSoft HCM and is probably due for a facelift.
We still see quite a few clients that are utilizing the old-school navigation and the classic pages. If this is you, it might be time to rethink this strategy and consider a fluid rollout alongwith the Job Data Fluid-enablement. It could be the right time for ditching Classic pages and to start moving forward with fluid.
Beyond just the more modern UI/UX and form-factor responsiveness of Fluid, you can also start to take better advantages of the other lifecycle improvements, such as:

- Fluid Approvals
- Related Content
- Drop Zones
- Event Mapping
- Page and Field Configurator PFC (Enables Data Masking)
These features allow you to configure without customizing (read: reduce technical debt and TCO).
